an ls/vtec aint easy or cheap if you want it done right. expect another $2000+ after the cost of everything to get it running reliably. the b20 has better torque than a sohc, and a b18b.

haha u can get a auto trannys.. VTEC does add HP over the powerband...for LS/VTEC u have to get a ECU,wireing, and u have to have the head milled to fit the LS block...sounds hard buts its not...as for the b20 havent heard of a big aftermarket for that motor yet..(its still pretty new)
b16/b18s have the biggest aftermarket... and yes b16a2 is everthing(motor, tranny, ecu, wires,axles.... ill find out what all comes with it for sure)
b20 still pretty new? :hahano: any part made for a b18b will fit a b20 except pistons. having the head milled for an ls/vtec conversion? no.

Ok if you get a b18b (LS) you also have to get a B-series tranny and ECU and all the integra mounts in order to put it in your car. You can use your wiring harness but you will have to mod it some.

ill be the first to admit that i dont know shit about swaps..but unfortunately, miraculously..the damn mechanic somehow found out that there was compression in the engine.after i told him i was going to get a new engine and also told him to not remove the old one thereby saving myself $300..henceforth, i no long need the engine swap...right now.but this convo certainly has inspired me into enthusiastic hopes to do it in the near future, when i get actual cash instead of credit cards or dipping into the savings my parents already wont let me touch...so..for future reference, looks like i need to research the b18b...and just for SNOOPY i will reconsider using the b20..how can u not for the price it is offered for..and JLAUDIO...my car wasnt in HIN..i drove it down there to see the show..shoot, my car was parked in the garage in which i had to pay $12 for like 2 hours..freakin rip off...
