Default winterizing tips/ procedures?

Now thats it almost officially winter, i just wanted to ask what people do for winter prep, just out of curiosity, thanks.

  • raise my car
  • removed my exhaust since road salt is not nice to stainless steel
  • buy winter tires
  • top off all fluids
  • do an oil change before it gets cold. Since it's a pain to work on your car when it's subzero
  • put RainX on your windshield and mirrors
  • wipe down the window tracks and lube the rails

That's about all I can think of.

flush and fill radiator is one thing i can think of to add to civicSIracer's list

perhaps a strong wax to help protect yer paint??

Oh I took that for granted And considering I worked at a car wash for a few months I waxed and polished my car almost every week

also would be a good time to dump a bottle of HEET...or any other gas treatment that gets water out of your tanks so you dont freeze up your lines!:thumbup:
