has anyone tried a flowmaster on a civic?
my friend got a flowmaster on his civic.
he wanted that es muffler everyone sweats. went to the shop the flow master one look just like it, and it was black, and it was quiet. $25 less than the ES, in stock and sounds exactly the same.
So yeah. go pick one up if you want it.

flowmaster uses a chambered muffler, and not free flowing like u see in 99% of all the mufflers available for import cars now... don't expect to see any performance gains, just a "pleasant sound".
the only other exception to that i guess, is if u had some serious power output, and need a muffler that really quiets the sound w/o restriction too much of the exhaust flow... then go w/ the flow

About 5 years ago my friend put a 3 camber flo on his 98 hb and to say the least it was the worst thing we ever did. It was cut off in less than a week. It continues to be a joke till this day. Memories u got to love them.:wtc:
Whatever. I have a Flowmaster on my 99 EX Cp and it not only sounds great and looks great (not rediculous like the many CHEAP others that someone else referred to) but definitely increased performance. I already had a V2 on before I swapped the exaust and between the two it sounds great, breathes well, and chirps through third. Just my two cents . . .:dunno:
