Default interior lighting?

Okay, so I have been driving my bosses S500 for a couple of days and aside from everything being built rock solid and the straight pimp appeal, the main thing I like is the vehicle lighting. I mean when you open the door everything lights up like your in an office or something. The lighting sucks in my civic and is not great in my GXE so I would like to pump up th elighting. Any suggestions? I'm thinking of getting a mirror with the map lights but is there some type of aftermarket dome light I could replace the stock one with?

You can install a maplight like 18Sec did. Pretty neat. Unless you want to go all out and install the rear pillar lights and all.

how about something like that. parts (ccfl tubes/inverters) cost about 12 bucks for both sides. the only hard part is to tap into the door trigger wire if you wanted them to go on/off with the door like i have mine.

What about the dome light too? Where did you get those tubes? I already have an inverter. What map lights did 18sec get?

the white ccfl's that i used, i got them from there.

this place now carries the white ccfl's and their price is lower, http://www.case-mod.com/store/produc...roducts_id=620

The rear-view mirror of a Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T or GSX (and some GS models) with a factory sunroof has a bad-ass set of map lights built into it with individual swithches for each side that let you turn it on without the door open. The switches don't override the door-open trigger, either. Bright, and you don't have the lights shining in your eyes or mirror when it's on. They shine on the dash, and light it up like a stage.

If you get one, be sure to also get the wiring harness that extends to it. It has a clip-in connector on it that you'll want to use. Some Galants also have it, but I'm not sure specifically which ones.

You know I did make a BIG mistake in speaking about lighting and NOT mention PLIEPL.

I did that same lighting to my car with blue :rick: but then I took it off.
