yeah, thats all a chip can do. unless you get a hondata or an aem and program it. but thats gonna run you a lot. thats why all those other chips are so cheap. because its not specific to your vehicle and mods or needs.

Fine... fixed my problem with VTEC. Thats the only reason I bought it. I bought mine from hondaecu.com

I had a PR3 ECU in it at first... had idle problems, car ran so rich it would have made you high.

Anyways I had issues of course with the ECU, now I've got a p28 in it and she runs like a champ.

 

Sweet! That's like my own reason for getting my first intake... I was too lazy to get a new air filter for the horrid dirty stock filter, so I just bought a new shiny curvy, less-restrictive one

 

hack the airbox off inside the pass. side wheel well,gut the cat,get a decent muffler( i got a suppertrapp, it sounds evil with no diffusers in it) add a decent set of headers and a msd ignition and call it done.

 

yep ... my first mod was removing teh resonator.
