I tell you, shit never ends this year for my coupe. So, Friday I finished my head gasket and some other things and got my coupe running right again. Well, my boss jacked up the left front fender on his 2000 S500 and my neighbor does bodywork so I go buy my bosses house and leave my coupe in his driveway and pick up his 500. Saturday morning I get a call and my boss is like, man, I have some bad news. He tells me that someone vandalized my car. So I rush over to check it out and they managed to move the car about half a block but I guess something happened so they bailed. But they still managed to bust out my drivers side window and take my S-AFC, JVC deck, 600W amp, JL Audio 12"'s ,floor mats (WTF?), CD's, radar detector (valentine I got for my B-Day), boost controller(greddy), my whole guage pod (HKS), and my rear deck speakers (infiniti Kappa's). They also half way ripped off my freshly reinstalled RS series lip. The funny thing about this is that it was in Shavano Park in San Antonio which is like $500,000.00 to one million dollars houses and my bosses H2 and his brand new S55 were sitting in the driveway in front of my car. I moved to new braunfels five years ago and have never had my car messed with because the chief of police lives a couple houses down. Before I was married I lived in an apartment in san Antonio and had my car busted into twice and stolen once. So this makes four times in 10 years of owning her. The cop said that they were amatuers by what he could see of the column. he said it probably stalled on them and they bailed.

In case some of you don't know, the car has only been out of the shop a month or so from a run in with a dodge ram. Think I can fix the column myself? I can put the key in but it won't turn and the steering wheel is locked. I had it towed yesterday to my house. The adjuster took soem pics and will email them to me so I will post some pics and get some opinions on fixing it myself. Glad I pay extra for all my extra shit.
Dang. By any chance was any of those items in plain view from the outside? That is crazy, the car was parked there overnight and this happened...

Thanks guys, the items in plain site that would intice a thief were the radar detector, the guages, the Apexi, the timer, and the deck. The deck is like four years old so it's nothing special. The insurance guy is coming by today. I never thought twice about leaving my car in that neighborhood considering my bosses S55 and hummer were irght there and there is a 911 GT2 parked two houses down. Just rich little punk kids. man if I caught them, there would be some serious ass whoopin' going on kids or not. But what can you do right?
