I don't think you can fill it with grease, because if a ball joint is bad you have to replace the whole controll arm, casue the ball jont is one peice with the arm.

yea thats the one, becuse if you look on top of the ball joint, you can see that it is welded.

you're wrong luberone.

The upper A arm ball joints are not replacable because they are part of the A arm.

The lower ball joint that goes into the LCA is replaceable. You have to remove the hub from the car to replace it, but it can be done (I did mine not too long ago).

Now, as for the grease:
If you look at the top of the boot, there's a metal spring keeper that goes around the whole thing. Remove that and you can slide the boot off to put more grease in there.

hih

Sorry man, but I wouldn't have done it that way. You will now need to replace the boots far sooner than you would have had you taken them off. The grease will end up working its way out of the hole and will eventually make the hole bigger.

Live and learn.

Hey, were you able to get the old ball joints out and the new ones in without the bench compression tool? I know they are compressed in and what I know of it is that you need the tools to get it out and replace it. Just wondering because mine need replacing.
