...or get hot and/or cold... As someone somewhere else mentioned, I wonder about the effects of the blower blasting hot or cold at the back of that gauge every time you hit the fan...

I've heard a lot of people constructing a fiberglass blocker to go behind the gauge to protect it.

 

i am gonna fiber glass them in so they are angled the right way and look like they should be there .. i thought of ditching the radio all together but having to look down far away from the road to see vital info just wont do

 

I never use the center vents, it's always on defrost/floor. So, it never hits the guage....

 

i am going to try to redirect the air.. i have no ac that stuff weighs to much and it does not come out when the weather is crappy so heat is normally directed to the floor when the roofs out on those chilli nights

 

ditching the radio? Is this a drag only car? I cant live without music in my car.

 

ditto, i pulled my car apart in the gas station parking lot once just so i could have tunes!

 

no i drive on the street .. but with the roof out and the baffle out of the exhaust you cant here the radio any way.. maybe once the turbo is on it might be more quite,, but right now its crazy loud.. no sound deadning does not help out either... oh yea its a tanabe super race exhaust, but i got it when they first came out and they did not make one for the sol,, got one for a hatch and cut about 8 inches out making it that much louder... anything for power and yes i hacked a $600 EXHAUST
