actually one of your people did come into my forum, which is why i came here. Not to mention I didnt get 3500 posts bashing on slow cars. ive got nothing against the good hondas.

 

alright, then i guess its fair. but you do own a civic, and i probably shouldnt say anything, but i too owned a civic, and think my sol is 100 times better....

but looking at the chassis the del sol is based off of, and than chopping half the roof out, i cant see how the car could be anything more than mushy. sure its got a lot of power...but on the wrong side of the chassis. wait, did i say chassis? i meant unibody.

 

im sure everyone would have loved to have their sol RWD, but i dont really mind, if i wanted RWD i would have. its a different class of cars. which has different classes for racing.

 

today was the first decent snow around here. the miata handles a hell of a lot better than the FWD civic did. The FWD gets things done, but it isnt pretty about it. the next FWD i buy will be a 60's mini.

could be worse, i could be having this discussion with capri owners.

 

snow sucks, thats why my car isnt being driven in it. i have an escort wagon for that job. my car gots its ass kicked last year. my 84 caprice classic did horrible in the snow when i had it thow, i blew out the rear end on it...ive never been in a miata in the snow though. my friends mr2=just horrible, my friends rx-7=just horrible, these cars are just as bad as my sol.

 

the rx7 wouldnt have as much weight focused on its wheels and it isnt as well balanced as the mx5. good car, but i dont think id be playing with that in the snow. i had a few LTOs tonight, but i was playing around looking for the limit anyway.
