Default Places to buy D16 motor?

ok i have a 95 DX and don't wanna spend all the money for a b-series swap since i don't have to much money. so i though i would go with getting a D16 motor and eventually turbo in the future. now which d16 motor should i get the D16Z6 or the D16Y7?(or was it D16Y8). need some help kind of a newbie here

Why?? Just get the D16Y8. There are a LOT of online places that sell them. You can get them very cheap. www.wiredspeed.com sells them for like $750 + shipping for EVERYTHING.

couldnt fund the motor on that site..which motor is best to boost? and the swap would be alot easier than a b-series swap right?

No, most swaps are about as easy as any other...some just require more parts. A B series motor would swap just as easy as upgrading your D series.

I'd say swap...you'll get dohc, and a better platform to build on.

well the thing is i dont have alot of money to spend thats why im considering the d16z6 or d16y8.

$2200....can find them cheaper though.

and then a 3k turbo kit..that comes to about 5k..maybe. i would think about it. i have plenty of time to think about this anyway. but i have heard about great results people have gotten with turbo d16's thats why i was considering one.
