Your springs shouldn't have settled; a good spring is preset at the factory and won't settle. Did you do anything else to the suspension when it was lowered?

i guess i should have used mileage as a reference instead of time. i'd say no more than 20 miles before getting an allignment.

i put kyb's in after my h&r's. i couldnt get an allignment for a week because of school. every mile i drove knowing my tires were self destructing was a mile of

All I did was replace the springs. They only settled about 1/2" lower. Maybe the rubber things that the springs sit on compressed a little. I dunno, but H&R is a good spring. I didn't think it sounded out of the normal.

That's what I'm saying, H&R's are good so there shouldn't have been any settle. That's why I asked if you did anything else i.e. bushings or something. It could have been the rubber ring in the strut collar if it was new but if it was the same one reused then that wouldn't cause any settle either:dunno:

I dunno. I reused the rubber rings. They settled that first 5 days or so, but havn't moved since. I am happy with them.
