help!!!!! I've created a monster
Here's the background: I crashed my 95 integra gs-r up in the mountains and rolled it about 3 times. Only thing left that's still good is interior and engine+trans.
I just bought a 93 civic ex coupe 2 days ago and started to strip everything from it including dashboard, carpets, and the complete wiring harness from front of the motor to back of car. It's amazing how much wires can weigh! I estimate about 25-30 pounds of wiring. Anyways, my civic is stripped down to the barebone. I thought it was going to be an easy task because my friend had swapped dashboards from a 94 integra gs-r and it fit fine. Problem is I just saw it, but never really asked him if everything fit fine and what he had to modify.
So my ultimate question is this: After stripping down my integra, with the complete wiring harness, will everything plug in the civic perfectly? Because both cars, have sunroofs, power door locks, power windows, power side mirrors, etc... Will the dash and door panels swap perfectly?

The door panels will need to be custom molded. And, I heard that there is a little brace that needs to be cut to allow the dash to fit right. Plugs should still be the same.
From what I've read about in on Honda-tech, you have to change wiring with your Civic's (splicing). Cutting is involved to fit the dash. The door panels will have to be custom fitted.

it seems harder now that I've inspected everything. I still have the abs lines to mess around with. And if you know anything about ABS, I'm gonna need to change the axles and possibly the rear hub for the magnetic sensors. What I wanted to know was if the wiring connectors would connect to my components in the car already such as fuel pump, window regulators, sunroof, etc...
Has anybody done this before that would have any insight. I haven't really started stripping out my integra yet because I'm afraid of the wiring mess I'm going to get myself into. By the way, the motor is fine, because I started it right up with no problem. Only thing is valve cover is cracked, radiator is smashed due to smashing in with my header and the mountain. (Need headers too.)

As far as the motor going in the car, you shouldn't have to swap any wiring for the motor to work with the civics components(fuel pump, etc.)...
Now for the dash swap, that's another story as far as wires go... not too sure about that.
Either forgo the ABS (the easiest option) and just use the civics braking system... if you insist on keeping ABS then just swap the rear assemblies and front knuckles/hubs from a GSR to keep ABS.
I would just keep the civics interior and braking system and throw that motor in there to make things quick & easy and call it a day. just my .02:dunno:

get one of those easy to wire harnasses from summit point so you have only the bar necessities
