Tell him to turbo his D-series and eat a hatch with a B16 swap. YEAH BABY!h:

The new SOHC kit from Greddy can (per phone call with Greddy) put out 300hp. On a built and tuned D-series, he would come out cheaper with a lot more power. If he insists on the swap, throw a B18 in there and quit screwing around already.

lmao, b16's are rare where you live? Shit, they're like the played out swap of the year where I live. Everyone and their mom wants one! Me? I'm building the piss out of my D. Nothing like 20lbs of boost on a 1.6 sohc beating the piss out of most of the cars on the road. Spring will be it's unveiling with some 1/4 mile times.

i meant b16b ( ctr ) b16a are all over the place i just think it would be cool to see some more ctr swaps but the b18 seems more logical if he is serious like he says.

Last time I looked, the tq numbers on the B16B are exactly the same as the B16a, just the HP is increased. Alright, I just checked again, they are negligibly different due to the higher-redline of the B16B.

j'silverhb, get a block off plate for where your A/C core would be.

It's a big plastic cover that comes in the non A/C equpped cars. Air is going to follow the path of less resistance, so instead of going through your radiator like you want, it's going to go through the big gaping whole where A/C used to be.

Ya'know, I just looked at pics of my car, and you can't see the plate from the angle we're looking at so maybe you have it, for instance I have one, but you can't see it:

b18c5 has different head, cams, valvesprings, valves, pistons, rods, etc. b18c5 makes more power.
