It will not work with your engine and could potentially destory it (also probably won't plug in anyway). If it did, it would imediately throw a check engine light casue your engine doesn't have a knock sensor and the ECU will want to see one. Also the redline of a JDM B16A is 8000 rpm, your is 7000. Your stock D-series cams peak out at around 6700 rpm so there's no power to be gained by going past. If you were to take it all the way to the B16A fuel cutoff of 8300, most likey your stock valve springs couldn't react fast enough and you'd float a valve (it wouldn't close when the cam lobe went away) and a piston will fly up and smash into it (your valves open and close over 66 times a second at 8000 rpm) and your motors destroyed.

Stick with your stock ECU.

I didn't know that this was your thread. Did you change user names or something? Sounds that way to me.

The ECU Code is:

37820-p2t-a12

But from what I am hearing, I should not bother.

Let me know what you think.

Any other suggestions for a reasonable priced mod to get some more oomph out of this thing? Especially lower-end?

Thanks

Buy a car that's already fast or get a supercharger. If you want to go REALLY fast, get a turbo.
