sorry, it won't help. Interior weighs like 20 lbs MAYBE and why? I could understand if you were runninng like a 15.0 and wanted to nudge into the 14s, but you really need to be realistic about your motor/car. It's not a speed demon. Take it to the track as is and get a baseline run. You'll then know what it's capable of and what you need to do to get into the times you want.

I've been doing this for a while.

I know a lot of peeps are not diggin the front...but, I like it...and my hubby likes it too...so, that's okie dokie for me...and our three kids, too! (they're doggies) ...

but, for now, no changes in the works...hubby's brewing up a new recipe for a new engine in his car, so mine has to stay up and running...

just wanted to share...thanks for all ya'lls honest opinion!

I believe you have misunderstood my inital intention...

I don't want to be a "speed demon" ... just wanted to know what others would think this hatch would run in a 1/4 mi...

that's all...it's "our" daily driver...dood, chill man...I'm not aiming to be some super-fast, my car is faster than yours, gal...

I get ya, but why take the interior out then? :dunno:

I guess it's all about what you're into and what your plans are. If you plan to drag it a lot and want to know what it can do, I'd start with it as is (like I said earlier). That's jmo. You can do what you want.

I think I'd like the front better if it were clean.. looks rigged from the posted pics.

yeah, that's cool...it's just the whole atmosphere (I know it's dorky), but u know, the night before going out to the track, you get all pumped...taking the seats out and striping the car...granted you are probably right, it doesn't make much a difference, but, it kinda gets me giddy (yes, I know that's gay--hubby tells me that constantly)

it's not to the point where I'm satisfied yet...at least, I have something to do on the weekends! cooking and housework gets boring:thumbup:
