There were still 5th gen coupes in Japan, it doesn't matter that they were made in America (they were maing RHD's right under our noses?!), they were sold in Japan, by Honda, that makes them Japanese Domestic Market.

If I may direct your attention to Hondas Japans website, http://www.honda.co.jp/HOT/ModelData...302/cp_sy.html

You will find the spec page for the 93-95 EJ1 coupe as it was availible in Japan. Now if I can direct your attention to the first line, and the last paragraph, you will see that it was indeed produced and exported from the United States, not the United Kingdom.

why does it matter where it was made? to me "jdm" is something that was offered to those people in that market.. i think it is inconsequential where is was made... to say something is not the japanese version of a certain car because it was made in mexico (just an example) is silly... if it was sold at a dealer in that region then it is of that regions market... regardless of anything else..

i can understand the thought process that if it doesn't have something that makes it "cool" or "differant" then it is not "jdm" but that is just not the case
