yes there was. it may have been imported from UK or US....but it was still sold and marketed in japan. technically making it part of the Japanese Domestic Market.

not saying the EJ1 was JDM is not saying the EP3 is JDM.
no actually the argument was over PRODUCTION....they never produced a coupe in japan..they were all imports...therefore making them EDM imports to a JDM market...they are not JDM vehicles but rather EDM vehicle marketed and sold to a JDM audience...

that is where this whole JDM acronym is thrown loosely. im not going to sit here and argue over production...b/c i know the EJ1/EJ2 and EP3 were not PRODUCED in japan. but when people start saying there are no "JDM coupes" in japan...the statement is false.

And clearly define "JDM" vice "EDM" or EUDM or whatever you wanna call it..

from what i remember there was a 96-98 jdm couple
not sure about the years but i know it existed
the only trim i saw was a dx equivalent

if you want jdm style couples then i can oblige
*note: there was a ek4 coupe sold in south asia and australia
