Default Engine swap questions?

Sorry for being a complete new guy at all this engine stuff, but I got a few engine swap questions. First of all, I realized that upgrading the engine on my 1993 automatic 4 door civic was pointless because it really can't handle a lot of horsepower, so I ask:

Are there shops that do engine swaps for me?

Which engine should I get? I was thinking one from a prelude or integra.

Exactly how hard is it to do an engine swap and do you guys know of any websites w/ tutorials on engine swaps?

By the way, hopefully i'll end up taking auto classes @ my high school and maybe even @ my local community college so please don't flame me for being ignant.

First answer: search

Second answer:
www.hondaswap.com
www.hybridgarage.com
www.c-speedracing.com

It's your first post and all, but everything you've asked has been answered time and time again. Take a tour of the site and then start asking questions.

1. there are shops that do swaps. where are you located?
2. a b series would be an easier swap into a civic
3. you'd have to convert to a manual at the same time, not easy but not hard from what i've heard

1. search your local area for shops that have done swaps before

2. you have a 1993....any B series (B16A, B18B,C) will bolt right in.

3. auto to manual is a pain in the ass...totally not worth it.

4. www.hybrids.jp

How much do B-series engines go for and where can I find them? I live in Fontana, California (92336 = area code).

you should do a search cause more than likely, your question has been asked and answered many times over and it gets annoying answering the same question over and over.
