Default Hows this suspension set up sound..

I am going to redo my suspenstion..I'm thinking of going with KYB AGX's with H&R race springs.. it's a 2.25/2.5 inch drop. do you think that will be enuff drop for 17's??

or will i have to go lower?

I think that might be too low if you are going with 17s. If you have the correct offset it might not be a problem, but I think you would have some rubbing issues.

2.5f 2.25r?........thats a low drop on 17s but do-able. just would need camber kit. You might have rubbing issues more than likely and would take it real easy on bumpy roads and speed bumps

My car with H&R Sports was exactly as low as I wanted for my 17's... Race probably would give you rubbing issues without a doubt.

Just go with the h&r sports, or get ground control coilovers.

HEY MY MANN I HAVE THE SETUP THAT YOU WANT OR HAVE AND SPEAKING FROM EXPERIENCE HERE IS WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT .
FIRST THE SPRINGS ARE GOING TO FEEL VERY STIFF WHEN YOU FIST GET THEM UNTIL THEY BREAK IN IN BOUT THREE DAYS AND THEN IF YOU DONT CUT THE BUMP STOPS YOU WILL BE BOUNCING LIKE THE DUKES OF HAZARD. THESE STRUTS CANT TAKE THAT DROP MY FRONT DRIVER SIDE IS GOING BAD ALREADY JUST CUT STOPS THREE WEEKS AGO SO YOU WILL HAVE TO ROLL FENDERS FRONT AND BACK MY 17,S TUCK NICE AND THE CAR HANDLE GOOD BUT i AM GOING TO EVENTUALLY GET NEUSPEED KONIS. THEY WERE HIGHLY RECOMENDED FOR THESE SPRINGS.
THEY HAVE A 5WAY ADJUSTABLE PERCH AND DAMPENING ADJUSTABILTY FROM A KNOB AT THE TOP OF THE STRUT .PERCH ALOWS YOU TO SET UP SO YOU WONT ALWAYS BOTTOM OUT YOUR STRUT.

If you really want 17s, the best plan is to get some coilovers, and figure it out for yourself. Ground Control or Skunk2 are the best sleeve style C/Os. If youre going to lower that far, I'd reccomend Koni Yellows, and you might want to get them re-valved so they can handle the shortened range of travel better.
