why even waste the money on a sol vtec or an itr then. You cant DRIVE it in NYC. Theres no point. Get an Echo and save on gas ...

As I said, he wouldn't really do this, he currently drives an automatic Civic EX. It was just something that came up in a theoretical discussion and I was wondering if it was possible, I said earlier in this thread that even he said he'd never do that to one of these cars.

I would get a Golf TDI over ANY of those cars if I was concerned about gas mileage

I think they were kinda comparing new cars

Personally, I wouldn't want to trust a 14 year old car for my commutes...at least not once I move out to the sticks
