Clutches usually last awhile if they weren'y abused terribly, so as long as it's not slipping, you're probably fine. Heck, even if it is slipping, you might want to leave it for now while you get used to the car and driving a 5 speed. If the pedal seems abnormally spongy, you might want to bleed the system, or at least check the fluid level. Unless the car doesn't seem to be driving right or the tranny is making funny noises, you're probably fine. If you're really gung-ho, you could go ahead and change out the tranny fluid.

If the car is jerking when you let the clutch out, it sounds like you are shifting at too high RPM's or aren't giving it enough gas when releasing the clutch. If you give it more gas, just give it a little. The throttle is very sensitive when the clutch is pushed in.

Check your service manual and get ready to do a 60k service, unless you have proof that it was done.

Air Filter (replace or clean and re-oil/recharge)
PCV Valve(if applicable)
Flush the radiator.
Replace the fuel filter.
Change manual trans. fluid.
Clean fuel injectors. (I recommend a can of BG44K in the gas tank)
Change plugs.
Inspect all belts, coolant hoses, distributor cap, and plug wires. (replace at 90k if still okay)

90k
Timing belt and water pump.
Clutch (if necessary) I replaced mine at 120, and i still had a lot of life, I got an ACT street clutch so the stock one had to go...
Belts, hoses, distributor cap, plug wires.

When I did my Timing belt i did a full tune up. A day later my distributor died...
