Clutches usually last awhile if they weren'y abused terribly, so as long as it's not slipping, you're probably fine. Heck, even if it is slipping, you might want to leave it for now while you get used to the car and driving a 5 speed. If the pedal seems abnormally spongy, you might want to bleed the system, or at least check the fluid level. Unless the car doesn't seem to be driving right or the tranny is making funny noises, you're probably fine. If you're really gung-ho, you could go ahead and change out the tranny fluid.
