So JDM ITR's with Recaro's should come with Harnesses?

You don't need to run harnesses on "race seats". But you do have to run a roll cage with some harnesses.

Can someone lock this? :closed:

JDM ITR's, CTR's and NSX-R's come with Recaros with no racing harnesses :dunno:

...same with the STi WRX and the Lancer EVOLUTION.

i just think its funny when people run race seats and talk about saftey and they dont use a harness for the added safety is all.

race seats only help with side to side movement of the body not if you get rearended or you rear end someone, the same stock belt is holding you.

what, someone can't give his opinon?

thats why I don't drive toyota's. hear about their mini vans, and how the gas tank can catch fire? Recalled something like 40K of them.....

besides, you got rear ended, and the bitch was going fast. Its not like some fender bender shit.

but once again I am sure you must be right 18secFerio cause you could never be wrong about how great OEM is right.
I simply gave my opinion. I personally would much rather use del sol, or integra, or another civics seats than some other company. Let alone a knock-off company. I'm not saying anyone is wrong for getting seats. I'm just saying I would much rather perfer seats that went through impact testing, and are designed for a secific platform (while the three cars are different, the parts are interchangeable, so that in my head classifies as a similar enough).

Oh yeah and Toyota has a better safety rating than Honde so much for OEM right. :airon:
again, honda's gas tanks don't catch fire.

to back up your claims on toyota having a better safety rating then honda i need proof. do you have a link to this claim? also is this for the USA or the whole world.
anyways, i would rather be safe then sorry. i would rather the chance in a oem or dot/sae approved safety device, rather then one that looks nice.

i understand skimping on a intake, or exhaust, or something where minimal gains would occur, but on safety equipment wouldnt you want something that is equal to better then what came with the vehicle??

that is of course my own opinion

you're still pissed because I made fun of your car?

 get over it.

they have this cool feature. It's called block. And then you don't see posts from people you block....

Really fawking annyoning if you ask me.
but we weren't. We were talking about car seats. way to stay on topic.

actually, they're arospeed springs, dumbshit. Regardless, springs have nothing to do with safty equipment. Way to flame me for no reason.

I know you don't like me because I'm not a gear head like 75% of the forum, but you don't have to knock on me every time I give my opinion.

And be sure you knock crucial si for the springs while you're at it, since they came right off his car....

people need to calm the fawk down. This is getting to be bullshit.

woah sorry man, i was only playing around.
you think i hate you

and anyways as far as suspension, I honestly think a reliable suspension is important to the safety of a person driving the car.
my friend had proactive coilovers once, and the collar snapped while he was driving and he almost lost complete control of his car.

eh, with the whole center cap thread, not to mention the four threads linked in my sig, quite a few people on here just flame me for the hell of it.

I know I bring most of it on myself, and hell, I really don't care. But the shit gets annoying when I got people I don't even know making judgments about me and shit.

maybe it wasn't entirely pointed to you, but regardless, I just want people to know:
A) I'm not going anywhere, and
B) either deal with my shit, ignore it, or just hold off until I eventually get banned (its getting close 14 points )

I'll agree, and I heard stories about cheap coil-overs enough to make me go to sleep.

but I figured springs are springs, and they were a $60 mod which have gone above and beyond whats expected. My handling has improved enough to be pretty tricky on roads and menuver out of the way of shit.

do I plan on replacing them? hell yeah. Is it a major issue. Nah....
