not knocking anyone, just my opinion, but the only seats I'd trust are either OEM or the better companys (bride, recaro, etc)
That's funny to me, because when I got rear ended in my wifes Corolla the locking mechanism that keeps the seats in the upright position snapped but once again I am sure you must be right 18secFerio cause you could never be wrong about how great OEM is right. Oh yeah and Toyota has a better safety rating than Honde so much for OEM right. :airon:

Werd, its all personal opinion around here. I'm not really into following in the "OEM/JDM is the bestest" trend. And I'm glad you weren't hurt.

to back up your claims on toyota having a better safety rating then honda i need proof. do you have a link to this claim? also is this for the USA or the whole world.
anyways, i would rather be safe then sorry. i would rather the chance in a oem or dot/sae approved safety device, rather then one that looks nice.

i understand skimping on a intake, or exhaust, or something where minimal gains would occur, but on safety equipment wouldnt you want something that is equal to better then what came with the vehicle??

that is of course my own opinion

no offense dood...
but honda and safety dont really go well together...
a 50mph crash would total ur car...
seats safety shouldnt be one of ur concerns when u buy a honda..

Neither Recaro or Sparco is JDM.

:werd: Safety first.

I say we just drop the subject. There's no sense in debating this as everyone will only see things their own way, even if others have provided facts.

how the **** did this thread go from, "how do my seats look?" to "toyota has a better safety rating than a honda" ???

and why the hell is a supposed "honda lover" glorifying toyota?

this is acura-honda.net not

toyota>honda.net
