Default I hate bikers! *pics*

Last weekend I got a new car. A 2004 Honda Civic EX. Today I went to center city philadelphia to drop off my sister for an orthodonist appointment. It was gonna be real quick so i just made some rounds in the city. I was going down a single lane street at the speed limit and about to go through an intersection. As I am almost pass the intersection, some guy on a bike just zooms by from the right (running a red light). I slammed on the breaks but it didnt stop in time to miss him. I hit the guy and he falls off his bike onto the sidewalk to the left. I thought to myself "OH F*CK". I'm about to jump out of the car to see if he was okay, but then the guy gets up and runs up to me (while still in the car) and says "I'm so sorry, it was my fault" I asked if he was okay and he said that he was fine and it was his fault. We shake hands and he goes off. I then pull over somewhere to take a look at my car. I didn't hit the hard at all. I don't even think I hit the guy, only his bike. Anyways hitting him left a hole and some scratches on my car.

Here are some pics of it when I got home:

What do you guys think? I don't think it will be too much work to fix right? For the scratches I just have to sand it up abit and repaint it. For the hole I would have to fill it in and repaint it.
I've had this car for less then a week!
Any recomendations on products or techniques to fix it?

Thanks,
Robert

Why in hell would you not call the popo, get it on police report stating it wasn't your fault and report the stoopad to insurance. You've left yourself yhe bill...

Unless theres something missing here....

If I were to get into any accident, I would try to get down the insurance details of the other party. That way, if it was not my fault, I would be able to make a claim against the other guy. In your case, since that motorcyle guy said that it was his fault, if you file a claim against him, you can get either your car fix or you can get the cash option.

Anyways, to fix that, I would get a whole new bumper instead of using bondo and paint. Is that a hole I see in yours? Now would be a good time to consider getting a body kit.

its good that you didn't call the popo....you hit a bicyclist, so even if he said it was his fault, its still going to be your fault.
