i don't really understand this DIY, marginally speaking you can get a perfectly good CAI for around $50 on ebay. this topic was discussed before and I thought it would just be easier and save time to buy one at this price.

Doing It Yourself is great. Thats where you get a real sense of pride in your project. If you could make a CAI that is just as good if not better than any aftermarket CAI out there and save big bucks while doing so, it makes it all worth it.

 

i guess the whole DIY gives you more pride, money savings. probably not, better? probably not. but more pride . i personally fell happy when I buy a good product and put it on.

 

We should dyno my DIY CAI (hey... thats catchy) versus your Iceman and see who puts down more power.

 

i cant understand the kids who think that the cai's on ebay are really any worse than AEM. its a _tube_ -- it CANT be any better or worse than another _tube_
