I need to know how to add A/C to a 93 LX. My girlfriends car donent have it an she needs it especially here in GA. She has not driven her car since April and dosent plan to drive it until september. Does anyone know how to do this? What parts will i need? Any web sites to get instructions? thanks

I think you need the A/C compressor, hose and a few other things. Not sure where any of it goes.

But why all the hassle?

She dosent have the money to get a newer car, i dont think anyone will buy her car here in GA during the summer so if i can drop in an A/C for a reasonable price then everything will be cool.

i have a 92 dx hatch and im installing an a/c system for my car. I advise to get everything from the 92 and 93 civics and the 94-up is a little bit different. You would need the evaporator, which is inside the car between the blower and the heater unit. Also need all the hoses coming out the evaporator to the condenser, reservoir tank, and compressor. Oh yea and dont forget the wiring harness to the a/c compressor and a/c clutch relay. The wiring harness runs from the passenger side where the air intake is to about where the driver side headlight is. I might be missing little parts but thats mainly it... goodluck
