Can I use this motor in my 92? Anything I need to swap out for the OBC differences?Why? Because it's cheap and I'm happy with the reliability of my currnt 1.5.

I see that the tranny is cable and the OBC is 0- but is the motor the same except for wiring and sensors? I will swap whatever I need if it will work.

 

I think wiring would suck because of the OBD-0 vs OBD-1 difference.

I'm not sure if the 92's were cable or hydro?

Well, all the 88-91 1.5L, except for the CRX HF, was DPFI. You would need to swap a lot of stuff from the LX to make it work.

Why not just find a 92-95 DX/LX engine swap? You can pick those up for next to nothing (around $150)

 

Where would I find one at that price that still runs??

lots of guys that do engine swaps in 5G's usually have one or a dozen sitting around. They are pretty useless engines in the performance world.
