A supercharged (I prefer that to turbo) H22A falls within my distant plans, but if you're not into that, I'd say B18C out of a GSR would be good for you to work with. Like Jon said, good suspension work is crucial to being fast in the way you are looking for. I beat out my friend's '89 5.0 Mustang in my D16Y8 Sol on a twisty course. The Sol can make turns like a bat out of hell even with stock suspension.

Hehe, I'm pretty sure I could do it...though I'm sure by the time I get around to doing it, I won't be the first. I foresee myself trudging along with my D16 (hopefully to be fitted with a JRSC by next summer) for quite a while.

why get the JRSC for the D16 when you plan on doing a s/c H22?
