Default Engine rebuild: Price.

I been looking around for total cost of items, and the total cost of my rebuild. Now i know i am going to be asking for a lot, for the rebuild, and i know what i want. Its going to cost me about 3500 i belive. Not to bad i guess. Oh well, i all most got enuff for it, i hope i can order it around Jan 1.

way too much, IMO.

you could buy about 4 d-series engines with $3500. At least.

I'm sure you could get a brand new one from honda way cheaper than that.

WOW Where you really thinking about spending $3500 on a rebuild for that motor ? Thats way to much man ! It's true what he says you can get 4-5 used " with tranny" or a new one at honda and still have money for headers and an intake lol . Do your researh b4 spending $3500 on a rebuild unless there gonna rebuild it with gold DON'T DO IT !

just swap in a B18 probably cost the same or less and will have low miles. d16 aint worth that much to me.

all that will not compare to a stock b18 motor in your ride and it will be cheaper !

If i wanted to be like the rest of the world, id swap it. I am sick of seeing swaps. Swaps swaps swap. God damn it, stop it! I am sticking with the D engine, and i will show you all, its a good engine. I hope After i get it built, ill dyno it and show you some numbers
