i'm saying, if all you care about is your 'powerband' then why are you driving a honda. no, i don't want to fight you. i would like to "compare powerbands" if you were in DFW area.

also, the 'so little displacement' crap is typical ricer mentality. you are starting to sound like an S2000 owner.

BTW maybe these projectors are better then the shotty ones of the past? Even the JDM's?
they were $179 and DOT approved. Hella H1 kit is going in this weekend.

 umm it is a simple fact that we have little displacement... nothing rice about that mentality... just reality. And I didn't say I bought Honda's for their great powerband, I said I am more concerned with improving the powerband then improving the appearance of my light patterns.:ghey:

What's so great about it is the ratio of HP per liter that our Hondas can put out. I'd like to see a 5.0 rated at 100 HP per liter of displacement from the factory... that would be an amazing 500 HP... Now a honda on the other hand like my H22 is rated at 100 HP per liter which is an amazing accomplishment for a 4 cylinder motor... and no I'm not talking WHP here. We may lack the torque but our wieght off sets that.

All I'm saying is more go less show... I bought my Honda for performance reasons... I like to tune not play dress up:db:

the hp/liter crap is so 1999. i remember making that arguement to my domestic friends back in the day (before i knew better). it might as well be the ricers motto. hp/liter is a pointless stat. tq/weight is what you should be concerned with.

don't have any day pics yet, just haven't had the car clean, my digital camera, and sunshine at the same time.

Try studying these two acronyms, if you need help figuring them out just ask anyone on HAN... ok, here they are: JDM & OEM

Putting riced out shit on your ride is a disgrace to the true core Honda enthusiasts.

To help you understand a bit, let me use a comparison here. Look at the muscle car/collector car scene.... they wouldn't dare put some crappy after market shit on their cars because it is not authentic and decreases the value of their vehicles... rather, they spend countless hours and years scouring salvage yards, classifieds, car shows etc. for the real deal original equipment that was on their cars from the factory... they are on a never ending quest to make their rides as mint and as original as possible and get much respect for doing so.

I didn't buy a Honda for all of the riced out shit that I have the potential of putting on it... hell you can do that with any car now a days... but rather for the potential power that can be squeezed out of such little displacement and the light nimble quickness that can be produced from these Japanese works of wonder.

From the sounds of it you should have bought some mini-truck and slammed that bitch on the ground and put on it all of the riced out shit your little heart desires.

That post was just the dumbest thing I've ever read and proves how much of a RICER you really are:doh: :fawk:

Where am I located? Look to the left bro it says FL... why you wanna fight or something?
Wow. You're a dick.
Now, bad rice disgusts me just as much as the next guy...but purists/elitists like yourself just piss me off. Did it occur to you that perhaps he bought them not so the front end of his car would look better, but for <gasp> better visibility at night? :slap:

Whatever he bought them for, his goals for his car most likely differ from your own. SO FUCKING WHAT! Get over yourself.

Ooh...you've got an H22. Good for you. Everyone is very impressed. Yeah, it's cool how modern Japanese technology can crank out 100hp/liter...but if you're so concerned about who's fastest, then that pretty much negates your point, because even for their lack of efficiency, a domestic V8 (this is not an absolute statement) would require a lot less modification to turn in the same 1/4 mile times that your car is.

Anyway...no one was up in your face, so back the fuck off.

Oh, and it's not just lighter weight that offsets our lack of torque...it's also gearing. Can't forget that one.
