Default H&R Sport Springs

I found a set of used H&R Sport Springs for a 99 Civic Si for $100 on ebay. I was wondering if that is a good price? I was thinking about getting new springs since the ones on my car only give me a 1.2" drop. Would a 1.75" drop in the front and a 1.5" drop in the rear be too low? Does any body have pics of a 99 Civic coupe with that drop? If so post some pics up.
Thanks,
David

You can get get new ones from adventon.com for $120.69. I would personally spend the extra $20 and get new ones.

I have the sport springs on my car. It's not too low.

I imagine that adventon would charge less than $20 to ship it too. Call them and ask them how much shipping would be.

I was wondering if I get H&R Sport Springs would I have to get new shocks/struts? Right now I have Eibach springs on my car. The shocks were replaced when those were installed. So do I really have to get new ones right now? The reason I want to know is that I don't have the extra money to get new shocks/struts right now.
Thanks

what struts do you have? were they replaced with oem or aftermarket? The h&r's will work with stock struts, but your ride will be bouncy, and they will eventually blow.

I don't know what kind of struts they are. I don't know if they were replaced with OEM or Aftermarket struts. Why will my ride be bouncy and they will eventually blow? I already have lowering springs on the car and my ride is not bouncy at all it is pretty stiff. So what would be the difference of putting new lowering springs on the car with the struts I have? If the ride is not bouncy now why would it be if I just replaced the springs and not the struts? It would be just like the setup I have now.

If they are the stock oem struts, they were not designed to hold up to stiff shock. The stiffness could make them blow eventually. Going from your 1.2 inch drop, the h&r's are going to be stiffer.

Just turn your wheels and look in at the stut. What color are they? Do they say anything on them?

The struts are black. I don't think they say anything on them but I could be wrong. I will have to check on it. Why would the ride be bouncy if it is not now?
