I want to know how much it cost for a green civic to be painted black and have the side moldings shaved???

 

call a body shop that you trust. For an entire color change, it's not going to be cheap... I've heard of people paying about 600 jsut for the shaved moldings...

 

You can do shaved moldings yourself it's not to hard. Talk to Bumnah, he used fiberglass and bondo. When I do mine I'm using metal plates and liquid metal, type of bondo. Cuts down on prices.

 

it will probably cost around an extra $400 to do the color change above the same color paint job.

 

Black paint is the cheapest. You'll save some money there.

 

your right, and red is the most expensive in regular colors, but they will probably get him in the labor part b/c black paint is a bish to throw.

for a good decent paint job, itll cost about $3000, and to remove the moulding shuold be somewhere in the range of 200-300 dollars. and then youd have to pay for whatever damage there is to the body (dont know if you have any, but you should also get rid of any dings)...cuz theyll show up like a.......um......like one white car on a huge black parking lot

anyone who spends 3-4 grand on a paint job should be shot in the face..... unless ur some kind of show car or something...well then u still suck anyways lol i say **** if its 3-4 grand use the money for something more important..... i painted my last car for 600 bux was a good paint job never flaked and **** local shops quoted me at arround 600-900 i painted it midnight blue and it use to be white... anyways do what u want if u wanna spend 3 grand on paint lol do it
