The one with the orange still showing looks ok, but still doesn't do the trick. I was thinking it was a transparent paint or maybe window tint. Did you apply clearcoat after that? Did you prep the surface, cause you don't want that peeling and looking like azz....let me know if you can post a pic of one with the turn signal on so I can see how it shines through. OK, SLOW DOWN, READ MY PREVIOUS POST, AND TRY AGAIN...
Like I said, it's not my del Sol, I found it on Google. I don't know how he/she made the Krylon work or anything else about these lights since I did not paint them. By looking at the pics of the lights in the car, it's obvious that there is lots of clearcoat involved, and the last pic I posted is of the turn signal lit. When not lit, they are totally black, when lit, the orange clearly shines through.
