if I can ping it in ms-dos & get (4) replies, it has a connection, so if the browser won't open, it must be an IE/winsock problem.

I forgot to mention I made a dial-up connection & the could connect the dial-up, but still couldn't pull ANY webpage, so it HAD to be a browser problem
