Just to clarify, you're talking about modding the DX motor, in one piece now right?
The big suggestion that I have is just to save your money and swap out. With the money you would spend on bolt ons, you would only get into the low 16s MAYBE high 15s, but that's it and it would take about $3000 worth of mods to do that. I/H/E, ignition, plugs, head work, pulley... The best bang for your buck on that motor is to get a new one. You could swap to a B16A2 for under $3000 or a B18C1 USDM for just around $3500.
Turboing that motor really isn't worth it cause the internals aren't going to handle much boost so you're wasting the potential of the turbo and you're not going to get a whole lot of HP out of it. Also, there's really no point in rebuilding the internals for the turbo cuase it's a puny motor and now you've spent WAY more than a swap.
