I'll have to check out the local audio shops around here. $130 for 5 wires is ridiculous. The Arospeed seems nice too, but I think I can DIY for the same price, and do it exactly how I want.
I'm not expecting HP gains either. I just want everything to run smoother, and not want my lights to dim everytime I turn something on, such as the A/C.
I think 4 guage is too big, 8 should be just fine. And also, if I were to do the DIY, I'd solder on the connectors. So you should get the connectors w/o the plastic on the bottom of em so you can do that. And to make it look nice, you can get some heat shrink tubing and cut a 3/4" long piece to slide over the bottom of the connector and shrink it into place.
Speaking of dimming, when im idling and the fan kicks on, the lights dim

Hopefully this can/will help make that a little less noticeable.
