Personally I wouldn't go with anything bigger than 17 inches. If you are looking for speed, go 15" or maybe 16". Personally I have 17" on my car. I can tell you from experience that you will probably want no wider than 7". With my drop kit my 17x7 wheels don't rub. On the other hand, the 17x7.5 rims I put on there to test fittings rubbed like a SOB.
