You really don't need JDM, trust me. I got mine from Osaka for 1600 plus about 400 for shipping and such. So about 2000 total. The only problem is, it blew after 6 months. There are threads out there about JDM motors and their risks. The timeline for an engine from when it is pulled in Japan to when it gets installed in your car is amazing. I was gonna get a USDM H22 when mine blew (WAY CHEAPER) but decided to go all motor instead. But if you do get one, do it yourself, saves a buttload of money. Plus if you have everything you need when you start, it'll take a day. Check the DIY forum here to see what all it involves. If all else fails, use the search button, its there for a reason.
