I've got a 95EX canadian model that was involved in an accident in February. The front bumper cover, right side marker, and fender were all damaged. The body was repaired and looks like new again. At the time I didn't notice any mechanical damage.
However, today I was cleaning out my air cleaner and I noticed that the air cleaner housing appears to have let go from it's mounting. As well, the resonator appears to be let go from what I can tell without taking out the fender lining.
Should I fix this problem or just remove the resonator since it's a common thing to do?
What exactly is the resonator's function, and should the fact that I drive in a canadian climate (7-8 months of winter) contribute to my final decision?
Thanks for your help.
