well for me i cant totally comment but when i make mixed CD's for people they never (knock on wood) seem to have problems playing them in any kind of player. you're right though alot of times its the media thats used but most times its the recorder or player thats the problem
I dont know if it has anything to do with the fact that I am burning from a consumer grade home audio CD recorder, and most peeps burn from a computer....my recorder takes the special AUDIO/MUSIC ONLY blank CD-Rs---THEY WILL NOT take the computer CD-Rs. The package MUST read FOR MUSIC ONLY.
