hey, i have a 92 integra gs with somewhat the same problem. My motor is idoling super low, most likely from cracked piston rings affecting the combustion, but my engine was overheating a lot. At first it was a crack in the hose right behind the block that was just shooting out the coolant in a very fine squirt. I had a mechanic fix that small hose and it was good for about a month and then the leak became much quicker. I started losing ALL of my coolant within a day! The water pump blew so i replaced it. The problem went away, but came back a couple days ago. My best guess is that i have another crack in the heating/cooling hoses somewhere due to the age of the car. I haven't looked into the sensors yet so I don't know if that could be the problem also. So my advice is just to make sure all your hoses are clean and are holding there form. Check for any leaks on the ground or from the waterpump.

If yall have any other advice for my car just lemme know. peace
