My favorite picks (since I'm an autocrosser in a street tire class):
BFG g-force TA KDs - these are my next tire
Falken Azenis - have these now and for the price and stick they beat alot of expensive tires. Great in the dry AND the wet with tread.
Kumho 712s - these are my daily driver tires and they work good for me. Used them last year for autocross and got several top 3 wins.
Kumho MX - these are supposed to be on par with the KDs and Azenis. Don't know who is using them though.
Bridgestone S03s - I know several people happy with these, but the price is a bit high
Toyo T1S - all the guys in the Speed World Challenge use these tires and give back great reviews - now of course they wish they were on racing tires though.
I recommend using 205/50x15" tire size since it will keep the diameter almost stock. But anything is better than the Michelins that can stock.
