My 98 Accord V6 is revving up to like 3 rpms and then "ca-clunk" into 2nd gear. This is only in the morning after sitting over night... and only for like the first 2-3 mins til the engine warms up then it shifts fine. Am i in the early stages of need a new tranny? i have 70K mi. on the engine... little early for a tranny to be going isn't it? is there anything i can do to prolong this tranny? Should i take it to a tranny specialist... maybe they can adjust some of the belts or something?
