Rear Doors Grinding (94)
My beautiful 94 Accord embarasses me everytime someone has to get in to or out of the back seat.
Both rear doors make a grinding sound when opening and closing.
They've done this ever since I purchased the car a few years ago, and I've seen it on other Accords as well. The piece that goes into the middle of the door (between the hinges) looks rusted, but shiny on top, maybe this is what the door is rubbing on. I've tried lifting the door (maybe the hinges are loose), I've tried sanding the rust off, and of course greasing. Nothing has worked.
I was wondering if anyone has had the same problem and has been able to fix it. Or if anyone has any suggestions at all.
I also have the common exhaust "buzzing" around 2300 RPMs and was wondering if this could possibly be my cat. Do they ever go bad?
Just a couple of things I'm trying to fix this summer. Thanks for your help.
