Hey Turbonium try to reset the ECU and disconnect the Neg batt cable and leave it for about 5-10 min and let it sit. Before you do that if you have a stock stereo make sure you have the code for it. That can be a quick fix. Instead of spending the money and having it done by a Mech and get charged $60 or more to check it. I was having a similar problem. So check the oil and disconnect the Neg batt terminal. Let me know how it went.
