Yesterday (fri) morn. i dropped my new jdm itr pistons and old piston/rod assembly off at the machine shop, by 6pm i had them back and was ready to accomplish the imposible
Lets just say, i had no help and am very tedious about my work, by 5:15am the following morning she breathed new life as a newborn NA baby! After 8 hours in traffic school at 6am that same day, i came home to break her in and change the oil. After about a 20 mile journey of below 4k runs at half throttle she purrs like a kitten, and is begging to be wailed on.
Just thought id share my excitement, for all who dont know, i pulled the pistons last week in my driveway, I had to wait til fri to get an appointment at my local shop. Installed the pistons Fri night into an unhoned block (45,000mi) so far so good! Waiting 500 mi. to do a comp. test, then ill slowly open her up. After being up for around 37 hours i think its time for bed. . . peace :loco:
