Boring out the block would require a lot of work and you probably will need to get sleeves to reinforce it. I wouldn't do it on that engine. At the very least get a D16z6. It's a SOHC VTEC, it's super cheap depending on where you live and it's pretty decent. Everyone here will tell you to swap motors and not wasted time on that one. If you really want power, get a B series motor. Preferably the B18C1 from the 94-00 Integra GSR.
