it makes sense to turbo an auto because you won't drop out of the powerband as much. but it doesn't make sense because auto's can't handle the boost as well (i've heard of many trannies going out because it was turbo'd) plus you lose alot of hp with an auto. i have an auto, but i'm going to switch over to a manual before i really do anything to the engine.
:doh: I see your point. I was thinking about s/c a bigger auto. I've heard that if you put a s/c on a v6 or v8, you get better bottom end out of it and more instant power. Is this incorrect?? Let me know if I'm wrong. I'm curious about this... If you have any info pages, I would love to read about it. THX

My tranny in my LX went at 74K and that was being nice to it. Being one of the first years of that tranny, I imagine they had some bugs in it. BTW, my car was bone stock when it went.
$1300 from Honda to replace it, with a used transmission.
