also the angle of the box could matter, i know a hatch is a lot diff. than a trunk but depending on the way i turn my box the sound magnifies, the hardest hitting so far is with them pointed straight up towards the hatch, or aimed at the back or rear of the hatch, i had 1 kicker com 12" running on a 600 watt pioneer(before it got lifted) and it didn't do much for me, now i have 2 type s akoube 12's aimed at the top and rear of hatch and it will rattle the fillings out of teeth, running on a alpine v12 600W, just a thought?

Thanks for the thought; my sealed box IS facing toward the rear of the trunk, so the bass does hit the rear and then bounce back into the passenger cabin----if this is REALLY the way it works; still, the bass doesnt make your hand stand on end even though its HELLA strong---and people dont hear it in the street, leading me to believe that its because of my sealed box...I should have gotten ported....can anyone continue to advise please?
